Nestled in the heart of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the Lofts at Stehli Silk Mill is where history meets home. Originally built in 1898 as a Swiss silk mill, our beautifully restored loft apartments blend the charm of original architecture—exposed brick, soaring ceilings, and real hardwood floors—with the comforts of modern living.
The (60) recently delivered “Phase II” units range from 1,100-1,800 Square Feet, featuring walk-in closets and a spectacular glass-line.
Stehli Silk Mill is an adaptive re-use project consisting of 165 loft-style apartments, featuring high ceilings, exposed brick & beam, and 1,400 oversized industrial windows.
In addition to the rental units, we are opening a boutique fitness studio known as “The Daily Pilates” within the former Boiler House building, which is open to both residents of our community and the general public. We also have another small retail space available for lease. This unique grouping of structures, where silk worms were once grown upstairs in a greenhouse-like setting, provides residents with exclusive amenity spaces.
The barn-style Metal Building is now home to a dynamic Spin Studio called “RHYLEASE Indoor Cycling”, in addition to a high-end automotive business “Refined Auto Detailing & Coatings", with a coffee shop / cafe featuring a small marketplace of locally-sourced products coming later this year.
The original “Ladies’ Cafeteria” building at the entrance of the site will serve as a local brewpub, farm-to-table restaurant, or some other destination retail or office suite with an outdoor plaza for seating.
